Facebook Friends In Paris? Use The Social Net's 'Safety Check'

  • by: Alan Duke

Facebook Safety Check, a notification system launch last year, can help you find out how your friends living or visiting Paris are doing in the wake of Friday's terror attack.

If you are there -- or anywhere near a terror attack of disaster area -- you can log onto Facebook and tap that you're ok. It will then send notifications to you Facebook friends about your status.

To check on friends or let them know you're fine, click here!

Look for this message: "None of your friends appear to be in the affected area."

Watch live Sky News coverage of the attacks and see the latest news at this page.

Lead Stories' Trendolizer scours social nets for trending content about the Paris attacks. Either type Paris in our site search box for a massive amount of results or scroll down to see the latest top 10.
